Hungarian cultural knowledge exam

We inform our Clients that in the case of applications for National Residence Card and EU Residence Card submitted after 1 January 2025, third-country nationals must prove that the requirements of social coexistence are fulfilled by passing the Hungarian cultural knowledge exam. The requirements of social coexistence are not required to be fulfilled in the case of applications for a National Residence Card issued for reasons of national interest.
