Change of accommodation

 

  1. Third-Country Nationals have to report their change of address ONLY ONLINE via EnterHungary
  2. You are going to get the newly issued e-certificate via EnterHungary. You will find your issued certificate in your storage.

 

Important information:

  1. If your residence permit is due to expire and you would like to start an extension case, at the same time it is possible to report a new address. You do not have to open an accommodation report case separately.
  2. If your accommodation has not been changed since you applied at the Embassy, please do not apply for it. In this case you will get your e-certificate of accomodation in person, when you pick up your residence permit.

  2. Signed accommodation report form by both parties, which you can download in advance from our website

EnterHungary will create the above mentioned document with the data what you provided after the submission. In this case you have to upload as soon as possible

 

Important

If you have a case under process (e.g. extension of residence permit) and your address changed during this, you DO NOT HAVE TO start a new accommodation change case, only submit the new documents to the current case.

Substitution or Replacement of the permit

Substitution or replacement of the resident permit  

 

 

Substitution of residence permit

 

If one of your personal data (e.g. in surname because of marriage/divorce) has been changed, or it is misspelled ont he residence permit, you have to apply for a substitution.

 

Important:

 

In case of any change in your name, firstly  you must apply for new passport. Please, submit the application for substitution of residence permit after this, with the new passport

2.Bring your official documents to support the changed data or the correct version of your(e.g. marriage certificate, birth certificate) along with the valid passport containing the changed personal data.

3.You can submit your application in person at the regional directorate according to your place of accommodation.

4.You can pay the procedural fee by card when submitting the application (20 000 HUF)

 

 

Replacement of the residence permit card

 

If your permit was lost, destroyed, stolen or damaged, you have to apply for a replacement.

 

Important:

 

If the residence permit has been lost or stolen abroad, you must apply for the replacement of the permit at the consulate of Hungary (if the permit has been stolen, the application must be accompanied by a police report). You must have a valid passport to be able to apply for the replacement.If it is also lost, first of all you must replace the passport, then you can report the loss of residence permit.

Important!

Procedure is free of charge in the following cases:

  1. a)issue of residence permit or extension of residence permit of Ukrainian citizens
  2. b)issue of residence permit or extension of residence permit for purpose of studies, or employment of Belorussian citizens

Important!

 if none of the above mentioned conditions are applicable in your case you have to choose „no”!

 

 

Extension: if you would like to extend a previous residence permit, that is still valid.

First application: if you apply for your first residence permit, or if you apply for new residence permit after the expiry/withdrawal of your previous one.

Give  your general data

 

Fill out all of the obligatory fields.

  • Please avoid the use of special characters (eg. „ä”)
  • Use your mother’s maiden name (full name at her birth).

Indicate your purpose of staying in Hungary

then fill out all of the mandatory fields

6. step

 Upload all the mandatory enclosure to your Enter Hungary case

 

  • an ID size colourful photo which is not older than 6 months.
  • Full copy of valid passport. (empty pages excluded)
  • School Certificate regarding the current semester
  • Scholarship certificate, if you have (Hungarian State Scholarship e.g. Stipendium Hungaricum)
  • Proof of payment of the tuition fee (if your procedure is not free of charge)
  • Certificate about the credits earned during studies
  • Bank balance statement, if it is not under your name, please attach support letter as well.
  • Health insurance.
  • Accommodation report signed by both parties (downloadable from:http://oif.gov.hu/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&layout=item&id=543&Itemid=1291&lang=en#)

 

During the upload, please follow the following steps:

  • 2. step: Select the file andupload it.

IMPORTANT:

during this step you upload the file only to your storage, NOT to your case!

You have to select the type and give a name to the document. Under the „Name” of the document you can select the file that you want to upload. (In this example the file has been already selected and the name of it is „Esztike”) After you have selected the file, click on „upload”.

 

7. step

Click on the „SUBMIT” button to start your online procedure! After this, your application is submitted.

Important:

There will be 4 main steps, until the case starts.

  • 1. submitted
  • 2. recorded
  • 3. delivered
  • 4. received (reception)

1. „SUBMITTED” only means, that your applicasion has been sent to the authority.

2. You will get a notification about recording request! At this point (if you have not already) you shall submit a high-quality photograph.

3. After this, when the authirity accepts the application, you will get a notification on delivery acceptance.

4. Please remember, that your case only starts after the notification of reception! An application shall be considered received only after you:

a) have paid the application fee (if the proceeding is subject to a fee); and

b) your facial likeness and fingerprint has been taken at the latest within 15 days of the date of notification on delivery acceptance.
