OPERATING INTERNATIONAL LIAISON OFFICERS’ NETWORK AND DEVELOPING THE COOPERATION WITH MEMBER STATES (ILO 5.)

Aim of the project

In this project we would like to maintain the presence of international liaison officers in Cairo, in Ankara and in Hanoi regarding the strategic relevance in the relevant migration aspects of all three areas.

Indicators of the main activities

As a result of the international liaison officers’ work the number of the illegal admission was increased 500% to the result of ILO IV. 2012 project. In every station, participation in 30 in overall 90 meetings is predicted. Approximately 250 direct requests could be counted referred to the networking with local authorities, the local members of the ILO network, cooperation with partners during the two and a half year period. Furthermore, a special report is made by every ILO once a month.

DEVELOPING THE STATISTICAL INTERFACE TO THE ALIEN POLICING DATA COLLECTIONS

Period for implementation of the project

01.01.2014 – 30.06.2014

Aim of the project

The aim of the project was to ensure at higher level border policing data collection in the framework of the project of the European Integration Fund 2012 called “Pilot project for the development of the statistical data collection” which has developed the system of the statistical data collection of the Office for the Eurostat, international organizations, domestic partner organizations such as National Police Headquarters and users determined by the Act II of 2007.

Indicators of the main activities

In the framework of the project the data connection was based between the statistical data collection and the other data collection (so called BTT and IDR version “J”) in parallel with improving the pilot project for the development of the statistical data collection financed by the European Integration Fund.

DEVELOPING THE ORERATION OF  THE INTERNATIONAL LIAISON OFFICERS’ NETWORK IN KENYA

Period for implementation of the project

31.01.2014 – 01.01.2016

Aim of the project

The project aims at combating irregular migration from and through Kenya and its neighbouring countries towards the EU.

Indicators of the main activities

As a result of the ILO’s work the planned number of the visa advices is around 1500 at the Hungarian Consulates and project partner Romanian consulates in Nairobi, Abuja and Addis Abeba. The mission of the ILO is to get contact with the local authorities, the local ILO network’s members, in the framework of quality development to ensure 6 times training (alone or cooperation with other ILOs) for 120 members of the local airlines, furthermore to take part in 24 bilateral or multilateral meetings. Furthermore, a special report is requested in every two month, 12 times professional visits have to be prepared to Ethiopia and Nigeria, and two annual regional ILO conferences have to be organized.

DEVELOPING THE ORERATION OF  THE INTERNATIONAL LIAISON OFFICERS’ NETWORK IN ALGERIA

Aim of the project

The project aims at combating irregular migration from and through Algeria and its neighbouring countries towards the EU.

Indicators of the main activities

As a result of the ILO’s work the planned number of the visa advices is around 1500 at the Hungarian Consulate in Algiers and at the project partner, Romania’s consular office. The mission of the ILO is to get contact with the local authorities, the local ILO network’s members, in the framework of quality development to ensure 6 times training for 120 members of the local airlines, furthermore to take part in 12 bilateral and multilateral meetings. Furthermore, special report is accepted to make every two month, and 12 times professional visit has to be prepared in this area.

Please be informed that you may request the issuance of your residence permit under transitional provisions of the new aliens policing legislation on the admission and residence of third-country nationals for one of the legal titles as per the new aliens policing legislation if you are a holder of a valid residence permit under the previous legislation. Please note that only applications for the issuance of a residence permit may be submitted in person or via the Enter Hungary system. The extension of a residence permit is not allowed under the transitional rules. An application for the issuance of a residence permit may be submitted 45 days before the date of expiry of the residence permit the soonest. In case of residence permits expiring between 1 March 2024 and 1 April 2024, an application for the issuance of a residence permit is to be submitted the latest on the last day within the validity period of the residence permit concerned.
