Activities undertaken by the integrity advisor:

In accordance with Government Decree 50/2013 (II. 25.) on the integrity management system of the bodies of state administration and the regulation of receiving lobbyists, the integrity advisor participates in the assessment of the operation-related integrity and corruption risks at the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing (NDGAP) as well as the implementation of the action plan addressing these and the compilation of an integrity report on its implementation. In line with the corruption prevention action plan, the integrity advisor puts forward propositions with regard to the trainings on professional ethics and anti-corruption held at the state administrative body, and participates in organizing such trainings.

According to current legal and ethical regulations, the integrity advisor also provides information and counseling for the management and the colleagues of NDGAP with regard to professional ethics related issues.

If authorized by the management of NDGAP, the integrity advisor performs the task of receiving and investigating concerns and complaints about operation-related abuses, infringements as well as risks concerning integrity and corruption.

Based on the agreement between the NDGAP and the State Audit Office of Hungary (SAO) concluded in 2013, the integrity advisor is in charge of coordinating the process of filling in and submitting the annual SAO integrity questionnaire.
