Aim of the project |
The aim of the project was involving refugees/beneficiaries of subsidiary protection into specialized vocational training together with providing opportunity of being employed independently. |
Indicators of the main activities |
The guarantee for success of the project was the selection of motivated people with good basic skills and 15 chosen persons were integrated into the vocational training. For the participants the chosen vocational training and language course were guaranteed at the same time. The participants, who completed the training course successfully, were assisted by a mentor to find a job. During the project financial support was provided to avoid dropping out. |

TRANSLATION OF EAC MODULES |

Aim of the project |
The aims of the pilot project were to translate modules of the European Asylum Curriculum (EAC) into Hungarian language and to organize trainings from them. |
Indicators of the main activities |
The project involved the translation and proofreading of three EAC modules into Hungarian language, and after it holding on on-line training from both modules, and two face-to-face trainings on both of them drawing into the asylum staff. As a result of this, the documentation of three EAC modules were available in Hungarian language, moreover at least 15 asylum case workers were trained by EAC trained asylum experts. |

QUALITY DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN INFORMATION AND ASYLUM PROCEDURE II. |

Aim of the project |
The aim of the multi-annual project is quality improvement of comprehensive country of origin information service as well as decision-making in asylum procedure. |
Indicators of the main activities |
The central elements of the multi-annual project are the subscription of the databases of two international recognised research institutes (STRATFOR, AKE Ltd.) and two professional asylum periodicals (Migration News Sheet, International Journal of Refugee Law). The Documentation Centre would prepare a complied, thematic professional report from the downloaded documents twice a month and the Litigation Unit of the Refugee Affairs would prepare a compiled, thematic professional report once a month from the most important asylum information in that period, which would be sent to the colleagues of the Office, partner organizations and international organizations known to be concerned. During the project there would be 2 seminars – one in February 2014 and another at the end of the project implementation period, in February 2015 – which both would present the results of subscriptions, assess the usefulness of the information. |

The main goal of the project was to realize the second national resettlement program on the basis of the quota of maximum 10 persons for resettlement determined by Government Degree 210/2013 (Vi. 19.) |

Within the framework of the project was realized the personal interview of the potential beneficiaries within Hungarian resettlement program 2013 in Amman and the selection of 10 beneficiaries of the project. |

Aim of the project |
The main goal of the project is the realisation of the resettlement of beneficiaries proposed by the UNHCR, chosen by the Office in the framework of the Hungarian resettlement program 2013 and promotion of their integration in Hungary. |
Indicators of the main activities |
Within the framework of the project the beneficiaries’ travel to Hungary was realized and the integration program will ensure additional aid (Hungarian language training, single housing support, the acquisition of assets, vocational training) above the subventions based under the Law on Asylum. |

RECOVERY OF THE STANDARD OF THE ASYLUM AND RECEPTION SYSTEM |

Aim of the project |
The aims of the project were to give adequate response to the challenges in connection with the operation of the asylum and reception system at appropriate level, to ensure appropriate labour power and maintenance at the site of Vámosszabadi, to restore the degraded condition of the reception centres, to process the backlog of the field of asylum applications.

Indicators of the main activities |
The aims of the project were to employ 4 social workers in Bicske, furthermore 8 colleagues in Vámosszabadi in order to have enough capacity due to the increased number of the asylum seekers. In favour of the processing the backlog and making decision in time in the new asylum applications target task was ordered at the central units and at the regional directorates of the Office from 1st October 2013 to 15th December 2013. In the framework of the project the aims were to reconstruct the sanitary facilities in Vámosszabadi, to renovate the buildings at the reception centre Bicske, to supply of means and devices at the centres and to provide catering for the beneficiaries.
